You can fly to North Cyprus's Ercan airport or to Larnaca Airport in the South.

Flying to North Cyprus:

Cyprus Turkish Airlines: Departing from Birmingham, Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester or Stanstead to Ercan Airport
Turkish Airlines: Departing from Heathrow and Stanstead

Flying to Larnaca Airport in South Cyprus:

Try SkyScanner.net - this allows you to search for the cheapest flights across all airlines to all cyprus airports over a period of one month or more, it is a great way of finding a good flight deal, if you can be a bit flexible on your travel dates.

Airport transfers
Airport transfers can be arranged if requested in advance, the prices are as follows:

Ercan (approx. 45 min drive) - £30 one way for a taxi
Larnaca (approx 1.5 hour drive) - £45 one way for a taxi
Paphos (approx 2.5 - 3 hour drive) - £100 one way.

Visa requirements
The citizens of European Union (EU) nations, Turkey, USA, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Australia and New Zealand do not require a visa.

No visa is required for a stay of up to one month for all bona fide tourists nationals of countries listed above. Extensions to stay beyond one month can be arranged in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at local police stations.

All other nationals should check their position with regard to passports and visas with the nearest Embassy or Office of Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Visitors who do not wish to have their passports stamped by the authorities on arrival in Northern Cyprus may request a stamped visa form which is loosely inserted into the passport and removed upon departure.
